Impact Report

We are thrilled to share the story of Pottawattamie County and southwest Iowa through our 2019-2020 Community Impact Report. Charitable investment through PCCF has an incredible ripple effect that will create durable positive impact in our communities for generations to come.

Our report's beautiful cover photo, "Need Gravel, Will Travel" is a piece from Council Bluffs Photography by Buck Christensen. The corn crib was located on the Barbara J. Green Century Farm, a Farm that was donated to PCCF in late 2019 to create scholarships.

As our state and country continues to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to update you on actions Pottawattamie County Community Foundation is taking during this time as we continue operations.

Our communities are made strong by working together and creating a culture that embraces diversity and thrives on inclusivity. We grow and flourish when our citizens feel valued, protected, welcome, and regarded as equals.

At the Pottawattamie County Community Foundation, we are committed to helping our Southwest Iowa communities grow and thrive. We support and espouse a culture defined by true philanthropy, which is defined as “love for humanity.” We stand firmly in support of creating a culture that ensures all people feel safe to be their whole selves, and enjoy justice and equality regardless of race, color, sex, ancestry, ethnic or national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity or expression.
