Guide to Giving at PCCF

We would like to recognize our donors and their generosity throughout the year! You’ve continued to demonstrate a strong philanthropic spirit by maintaining and establishing new funds, and recommending hundreds of grants to local nonprofit organizations.

In an effort to assist you with carrying out your end-of-year philanthropic goals, please see below for deadlines regarding year-end giving activities:

  • STOCK AND CASH GIFTS (check, wire, online) submitted to PCCF by Dec. 31 will be earmarked as a 2021 contribution.
    Note: The gift must be in PCCF's account by Dec. 31 to be eligible for a 2021 tax deduction.

  • CHECKS can be made payable to:

    * Please include the name of the fund in the memo line of the check.
    ** Checks mailed can be earmarked as a 2021 contribution if postmarked by the US Postal Service on or before Dec. 31.

  • ONLINE DONATIONS to public funds must be made on or before Dec. 31 to be eligible for a 2021 tax deduction. If you wish to make a donation to your individual or family fund online, please contact Kelly Dix at for your unique donation link.

  • For inquiries regarding GIFTS OF CASH OR SECURITIES MADE VIA WIRE TRANSFER or GIFTS MADE VIA TRANSFER FROM MUTUAL FUNDS, contact Kelly Dix at or 712.256.7007 by Dec. 23.
    Please note: PCCF will be closed December 24, 27, 30 and 31.

10% match (up to $250,000) from Pottawattamie County Community Foundation.
